About this image: A departure from the first two Pool images — here the water recedes and an arc of red woven pool chairs lines the edge, their curve leading the eye across the frame. The same warm, hazy orange glow of late summer Palm Springs suffuses everything, and a fine mist of golden sunlight drifts across a portion of the image at a soft angle — gentle, as if the light itself has been finely sprayed across the scene.
