About this image: A late international style building from the 1980s fills the frame at a three-quarter angle — its front face bathed in the deep, warm light of the last thirty minutes of the day, its other face cold and receding into shadow. Above, a deep blue sky holds clouds that shift from darkly warm to almost cool, the day balanced on the edge of night. Named for Achlys, the Greek spirit of the death mist and eternal night.
