About this image: A luminous yellow sphere fills the upper half of the frame, its reflection pooling below on a reflective surface — the two halves separated by a ring of dark that deepens the sense of isolation and intensity. Close, vivid, and near-symmetrical, it glows with the dense radiance of a dwarf star — a synthetic sun suspended in its own small universe of color and light.
